Mosaic Global Transportation was one of nine companies selected to participate in a mentoring program sponsored by UBS and Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa’s Office of Economic and Business Policy to help entrepreneurs in the area generate job growth and business expansion. The nine teams, made up of a small business owner, a UBS Financial Advisor and a UBS client who’s been successful in the entrepreneur’s industry.
“We are excited about being chosen to be a part of this innovative program. As President/CEO of Mosaic Global Transportation, we employ close to 40 dedicated Staff, Sales and Chauffeurs and partner with over 430 Affiliates across the globe, who represent our global brand. Being a part of this program will help us grow to levels not previously experienced and allow us access to capital”, said Maurice Brewster, President/CEO of Mosaic Global Transportation.
With that, UBS has committed $10 million to fund loans to qualified small businesses in the Los Angeles area and selected Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC) to administer the small business loans. One of the additional benefits to Mosaic Global Transportation is the media exposure we may receive over the course of the program. With articles appearing in The New York Times, On Wall Street and Crain’s Business Journal’s, we may be able to tell our success stories to a greater audience.
